Mode
of Payment
All
payments should be made by way of demand draft drawn in favour of
‘Icfai University Common Fund ’ and payable at Hyderabad.
Admission
Fee
All
successful applicants who have been granted admission are required
to pay an admission fee of Rs.10,000. The admission fee should
reach us on or before 5.00 pm, June 9, 2008 to the following

Tuition
Fee
The
tuition fee is payable in installments as per the schedule given
in the Table by the due dates as indicated.
Caution
Deposit
Students
are required to pay a caution deposit of Rs.10,000 along with the
first installment of the tuition fee. This deposit is towards
library books, cases, use of computer and other facilities.
Caution deposit will be refunded without interest (and after
adjusting for dues, if any) to the students on completion of the
Program.
Contribution
to Student Activities Fund
Students
are required to contribute Rs.11,000 to the Student Activities
Fund. The fund is administered by a committee consisting of
student representatives and faculty under the supervision of the
Dean. It is utilized to finance student activities including
special classes for development of soft skills, placement
brochure/placement related activities, participation in
competitions, picnics, cultural events, welcome and valedictory
functions etc. It is also utilized to reimburse hospitalization
expenses up to Rs. 1,00,000 due to illness and accidents during
their course of study. The payment of Rs.11,000 is to be divided
into two equal parts of Rs. 5,500 each and paid along with the II
and IV installments respectively.
Membership
Fee of Alumni Federation
Students
are required to become members in the ISIT Alumni Federation (ISITAF).
The provisional membership in ISITAF entitles the student to
participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and local chapter
activities organized by ISITAF. The fee is Rs.10,000 payable along
with the seventh installment of the tuition fee.
Bank
Loans
Banks
provide educational loans to the applicants selected for the MCA
Program. Applicants are required to approach
the respective branches in their city/town for educational loan.
The loan amount will be disbursed in stages as per the fee
schedule. There are no margin requirements.
The
interest rate applicable to education loans is around 10% or less.
The loan documents should be executed by both the applicant and
the parent / guardian with joint and several liability. Repayment
starts 6 months after completion of studies or after getting a job
(whichever is earlier).
Merit
Scholarships
To
encourage meritorious students, ISIT offers merit scholarships for
its enrolled students. These merit scholarships are in the form of
concession in tuition fee and are given to students who emerge as
rankholders in the ISIT MCA Test (IMCAT 2008). The merit
scholarships will be awarded as indicated below:

Details
will be communicated to the rankholders along with their selection
letters. The merit scholarships are based on IMCAT 2008 and are
applicable only for the Semester I. From Semester II onwards, the
grades scored by the student will determine the scholarship for
the semester. Further details are provided in the Students
Regulations.
Merit
Cum Means Scholarship:
In order to help needy students ISIT may offer Merit Cum Mean
Scholarship based on performance of the students in the various
Semesters.
Stipendiary
Assignment Program
A
unique earn-while-you-learn program called "Stipendiary
Assignment Program" has been developed to provide them with
practical exposure while studying by offering various stipendiary
assignment from time to time. Students will have the opportunity
to:

Develop
skills such as software development, marketing, communication,
presentation and overall personality development.

Understand
the dynamics of the market/ workplace.

Earn
while they learn.
-
Obtain
work experience while studying.
It
is a voluntary program and offers, apart from practical exposure
and skill development opportunities, attractive stipends and
performance-based incentives.
